A city-wide Alternate Reality Game

Imagine a signal hiding inside a city; the ultimate ghost in the map, haunting stations, gates and street corners, and watching everyone who walks past. This is the premise of OffGrid Delhi, a one-day, city-wide Alternate Reality Game for participants under 18. Part grassroots indie storytelling, part scavenger hunt, part urban legend, it sits at an intersection of puzzles, public places and the stories we tell about them. Some of what follows has been recovered, some is still missing. If you decode something we haven’t, or ESPECIALLY if you find the next clue before we do, please get in touch.

Online Round: 1–7 November

Before the field game, the signal goes online. For one week, from 1 to 7 November, OffGrid Delhi will run a week-long online puzzle round that you can play from anywhere. It is open to students under 18 in Delhi NCR. Details on how to take part will be announced soon.

The Premise

Participants step into a connected fictional story, receive an opening clue, and discover how the mystery unfolds. No ARG experience needed.

Puzzles and physical missions take place at pre-approved public locations across Delhi. Teams follow designated routes, stay with their supervised group, and check in at every stop. The city is part of the game.

Entry 001: Clue Zero

The first signal was recovered scrambled. Turn the cipher wheel to decode it, then enter the location. This is a sample of the kind of challenge the game may include.
